7 or 8 trips to PV, and we always start our first night at La Palapa. So great. On the beach, solid food, often has live music, good cocktails, just a consistently good, well maintained place throughout the years.
Going there next month, so see you soon! -

This place has some really cool vibes and views by the beach. Love the sunset view and the nigh time festivities around this area. Really well located for those romantic dinners by the beach!
The food is expensive though compared to a lot of other really good flavorful restaurants in that area.. but I guess you are paying for the view!
We had fish and shrimp rolls, those were my favorite!
We had their whole fish, which is a huge portion for a party of two, probably a better choice for 4? It was okay.
Also got pork potstickers or something that was also average.
The drinks are okay. Better drinks at Si Senor close by. -

Yelpers were going nuts for this spot, so I had to see what the rave reviews were all about. I was not disappointed! I stopped in for lunch on a Thursday morning, and was immediately seated at a table in the sand.
My waiter was awesome and had amazing customer service. When I visit foreign places, I always love getting the locals recommendations. He recommended the red snapper, so I couldn't turn it down. I also ordered the coconut shrimp to start.
The coconut shrimp plate is served with 4 large fresh shrimp that are beyond amazing. The taste was heaven in my mouth! The sauce that it is served with took the dish to another level. I was also served a bowl of plantains and sweet potato chips with a bowl of tropical salsa. Another tasty dish.
When the fish arrived, my jaw dropped. Let me start by saying I've NEVER had a full fish served to me. The fish I'm used to is in fillet form or sushi. This thing was huge and smelled so yummy. I had to ask the server how to eat it and how to avoid the bones. Every bite was full of flavor. Towards the end, I did end up getting a mouthful of bones, that I was picking from my mouth for a good 5 minutes.
Overall, 5/5 for service and food, but 4/5 for price. For lunch for just me it came out to about $60USD with a drink. -

Breathtaking views and service. Aboard the Carnival cruise and stopped in for the first and services.
You may encounter alot of vendors but it's a part of the scene.
Received the best service from waiters and Crew. -

A little on the pricy side but well worth it!! You won't be disappointed.. food is great, perfect location (right on the beach), servers are nice, and there is live music!
